Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the Rebellion website (rbln.com), purchasing tickets, or attending our events, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our services or attend our events.

Event Registration and Tickets

Ticket Purchase

• All ticket sales are processed through our registration partner
• Ticket prices are subject to change without notice
• Early bird and promotional pricing have limited availability
• Tickets are non-transferable unless explicitly stated
• We reserve the right to refuse registration to anyone at our discretion

Refund Policy

No backing out of the rebellion — all registrations are final and non-refundable.

• All ticket sales are final with no refunds under any circumstances
• This policy applies regardless of when you cancel or your reason for cancellation
• In case of event cancellation by Rebellion, full refunds will be issued within 30 days

Ticket Transfers

While tickets are non-refundable, they may be transferred to another person at no additional cost. Contact us with the new attendee's information at least 7 days before the event.

Event Attendance

Code of Conduct

All attendees must comply with our Code of Conduct. Violation may result in immediate removal from the event without refund.

Badge Requirements

• Valid event badge must be worn and visible at all times during the conference
• Lost badges may incur a replacement fee
• Sharing or transferring badges to non-registered attendees is prohibited

Photography and Recording

• Rebellion may photograph, video, or otherwise record event proceedings
• By attending, you consent to being photographed or recorded
• We may use these materials for promotional purposes without compensation
• If you don't wish to be photographed, please inform event staff
• Personal recording of talks is allowed unless otherwise indicated

Event Changes and Cancellation

• We reserve the right to modify event schedule, speakers, or content without notice
• Event location may change with reasonable advance notice
• In case of cancellation, full refunds will be issued within 30 days
• We're not responsible for travel, accommodation, or other costs if the event is cancelled or rescheduled
• Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, etc.) may result in event postponement or cancellation

Intellectual Property

Talk Content

• Speakers retain copyright to their presentation materials
• Recorded talks may be published under Creative Commons license (with speaker permission)
• Commercial use of talk recordings requires speaker consent

Rebellion Branding

• "Rebellion" and "RBLN" are trademarks of our organization
• Use of our branding requires written permission except for factual reference
• See our press kit for approved usage

Sponsorship and Vendor Terms

• Sponsorship agreements are governed by separate contracts
• Vendors must comply with all venue rules and our Code of Conduct
• No aggressive sales tactics or harassment of attendees
• Sponsor materials are subject to approval by conference organizers
• Speaking slots are not guaranteed with sponsorship packages

Liability and Disclaimers

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rebellion is not liable for:

• Personal injury, property damage, or theft during the event
• Travel delays, cancellations, or accommodation issues
• Technical difficulties affecting presentation or connectivity
• Accuracy or completeness of information presented in talks
• Actions or omissions of speakers, sponsors, or other attendees

Assumption of Risk

Cybersecurity conferences involve discussion of vulnerabilities, exploits, and offensive security techniques. Attendees assume all risk associated with this content. We are not responsible for misuse of information presented at the conference.

Network Security

Event WiFi is provided as a convenience but should be assumed insecure. We are not responsible for data compromised over event networks.

Website Use

• Website content is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We may modify or discontinue website features without notice
• Unauthorized use, scraping, or automated access is prohibited
• You may not use the site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use your information.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rebellion harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, our Code of Conduct, or applicable laws.

Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable commercial arbitration rules
• Arbitration will be conducted in English
• You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit
• If arbitration is found unenforceable, disputes will be resolved in appropriate courts

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the event is held, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or website notice.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
