# Vincent Passaro

**Head of Attacker Engineering & Intelligence Partnerships, Security at Stripe**

## About

Vincent Passaro is Head of Attacker Engineering & Intelligence Partnerships, Security at Stripe, where he leads the design of defensive systems built backward from how attackers actually operate, not forward from controls. He created FT3 (Fraud Tools, Tactics, and Techniques), an open framework for describing and disrupting modern financial fraud, and previously built tier-three incident response and threat intelligence capabilities for high-severity events at AWS. Today, Passaro also leads Stripe Security’s external intelligence work, spanning industry partnerships, law enforcement collaboration, and trust-group intelligence sharing. His work sits at the intersection of attacker tradecraft, fraud, cybersecurity, and emerging technology, with a particular focus on how agentic systems are changing the speed, scale, and economics of both attack and defense.

### When Both Sides Have Agents: Attacker Engineering at Machine Speed

**What you will learn:** • How to turn a human adversary taxonomy into a system agents can reason over, while preserving the relationships between tactics, techniques, evidence, classification and provenance.

• How to put deterministic architecture around probabilistic reasoning, with explicit knowledge states, validation gates, provenance requirements and independent review before generated intelligence enters the canonical framework.

• How to build the loop in both directions, applying the taxonomy to real systems and code while allowing agents to identify gaps and propose new intelligence without contaminating the source of truth.

• The failure modes to expect when agents handle adversary intelligence—manufactured consensus between same-vendor models and silent failures that look like clean results—and the evaluation criteria to define before trusting any agentic result.
